There are many tasks that must be completed if you want to build a successful Internet or other business. What, out of all the tasks you have to do, would you consider your most important task? You will be able to maximize your earnings potential and reduce the time you spend working. Ask anyone who has done this successfully, and they'll be happy to agree.

You've made the decision to build an opt-in email list. Now you need to do all your research and make sure you know every trick you can. You still have questions after all this effort. Maybe you created a list but aren't making any money off it.

You might actually be losing money because of the costs associated with building and maintaining an opt-in email list.

You keep repeating to yourself, "The money's in the list", but your head is shaking and you know this is nonsense. You give up on building an opt-in email list and move on to other things.

These are the most important things to consider when building opt-in email lists.

The foundation of building opt-in email lists is what I am going to be talking about. It can be described as a mindset, or the attitude that you adopt when building and monetizing your email list. To build targeted email lists, you must have three mindsets.

1-Focus on Quality and Not Quantity

Although it may take more effort to attract quality subscribers, it is well worth the effort. Building an opt-in email list that is responsive takes time. Focus on quality and only attract it. Although you may have a smaller mailing list, a responsive and small list will still be more effective than a low-quality list.

Building quality takes more than building an opt-in email list. I won't go into the details of building a targeted list, but I will stick to the fundamentals or the mindset of creating one.

2-A second approach is to talk to each person on your contact list one-to-one. People make the mistake to communicate on a large scale, as though they are giving a speech in front of thousands of people. This approach is dangerous.

Be friendly and personal when writing emails. They should feel like you care about them and that you want to help. You are there to help them and offer your expertise. Don't give the impression you are too important or big for your prospects.

This will result in a win-win scenario for everyone if you do it.

3. Take the time to create the perfect system to attract your ideal subscriber. This will allow you to direct your marketing efforts towards a winning subscriber channel.

You must be familiar with McDonalds. Who hasn’t heard of McDonalds? It's a place I have eaten 100 times over my life. Ray Crock, the founder of McDonalds, created a restaurant that was efficient and high quality. It also made a lot of money. He continued to improve it and created a system that anyone could replicate if they followed his plan. It was successful before it was mass-produced, so he franchised it.
